Some of our Espresso Team Builds
We offer a number of our team builds in the shorter ‘Espresso’ format. Please see some examples below and get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
Communication Rush
This team build is really helpful in developing clear communication in teams. The group is split into sets of two teams. One of the teams will learn how to complete a task such as building a rope bridge to transport equipment from one side of a virtual swamp to the other. The other team will learn how to do a different task such as building a water pump and using it to pump water. Once the teams have performed their tasks, they will meet and have 15 minutes for the “communication rush”. They need to explain to their partner team how to do the task they have just completed. They also need to understand from their partner team how to do the task they did. Teams will then change over.
The Big Picture
The ’Big Picture’ is a great team build for fostering teamwork, supporting collaboration, and encouraging effective communication amongst team members. It is designed to maximize relationship development across a whole group and provide a solid foundation for new teams to build from. Divided into smaller teams of 4 or 5, each group will work on solving and completing a puzzle. In order to complete their puzzle, each team must complete a series of mini tasks and collect tokens. Tokens can then be exchanged for puzzle pieces at the ‘puzzle shop’.
Defuse and Build
Welcome to Defuse and Build - the ultimate team-building challenge. This thrilling and interactive activity is designed to bring teams together to defuse a virtual bomb under intense time pressure. Each team will receive their own tablet with the game loaded on it, as well as a unique challenge that they must solve in order to access the defusal manual.
The Torch Race
The Torch Race is a fast and exciting team build forging great relationships and memories. It is designed to maximize relationship development across a whole group and provide a solid foundation for new teams to build from. Central to the team build is a large game board. The group is divided into smaller teams, each of which has a game piece, a mini-replica of the Aspire Torch. The objective is to win by getting your team’s game piece from the start to the finish first. To make moves on the board, the teams must earn ‘Move tokens’, by choosing and completing mini-tasks. The tasks are a fun and varied mix of challenges that require different skills.
