Finding the right venue or hotel for your training is crucial…
…but it can also be a headache.
With so many options and variables, choosing the best one for you is an overwhelming and time-consuming task.
Luckily, we’ve worked with many hotels and venues in Doha, so we know what to look for (and what to avoid).
Here’s our 4-step checklist for booking a Venue in Doha.
P.S. We’ve also included our favourites at the end.
1. Audio and Visual Support Fees
Most hotels and venues in Doha don’t include audio and visual equipment in their packages, often out sourcing this service. This can significantly increase the cost, sometimes up to 6,500 QAR for a basic microphone and projector setup.
Look for a hotel that includes this in their price or charges a minimal fee.
2. Unnecessary Permits
The last thing you want on training day is to be held up by unexpected permit issues. This will delay training and frustrate participants. Some venues have more complex permit requirements than others.
We recommend choosing a venue with a simple, hassle-free permit structure. (See below for our suggestions.)
3. Terrace & Outdoor Permits
Need outdoor spaces for your training event? Depending on the activities, you might require additional permits. For light activities, permits aren’t usually needed, but for more active events, it’s worth checking with the venue.
Be aware that some venues will charge a premium for outdoor spaces.
4. Is the Venue Established?
In our experience, opting for established venues is often preferable to newer ones. Due to Doha’s strict and complex regulations, newer venues may take longer to navigate these requirements and establish reliable services.
Choosing established venues reduces the risk of delays.
Based on our experience, here are our favourite venues in Doha:
Having operated in many venues and hotels across Doha, we consistently return to these locations for their flawless service and ease of collaboration.
