Junkyard

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Teams scavenge the Junkyard and use recycled materials they found to try to make as much money as possible. To make money they either build small products and sell them in the market or work on a huge project and try their luck at the Shark Tank Style Pitch.

Each team starts the activity with an initial capital. Using this money, participants can purchase recycled material from the junkyard to help them in their quest.

In the market, there are models for simple products that teams can complete easily and sell to make minor profit. This enables teams to save up to buy the bigger more complex materials they may need for their main project.

In the final part of the game, each team will get a chance to present their team project for 60 seconds to a panel of investors. Investors will choose to buy only the most impressive of projects.
